Premium Members Haris Pallas Posted March 14, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 14, 2013 Hallo all, Anybody used the MARSHALL V-LCD70MD-3G MONITOR on an HD sled? What about at sunny outdoor shooting? Thank you, - Haris -
Premium Members John E Fry Posted March 14, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 14, 2013 Go for XHB version - Xtra High Brightness, 800 nits I believe. I have one on my Flyer LE and my EFP & to be honest haven't missed the greenscreen yet.

Premium Members Steven Moreno Posted March 15, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 15, 2013 I have been looking into this monitor, as well. I am wondering how it compares to the Marshall V-LCD651STX-3GSDI, which is 650 nits transreflective.
Premium Members Osvaldo Silvera SOC Posted March 20, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 20, 2013 I purchased the monitor for my job in Italy last month, Was excellent, but not too good in Sunlight, or in overcast conditions. brighter than my V-R70P-HDSDI, but nothing compared to any Transvideo Superbright monitor. I use the V-R70P-HDSDI for all my studio work since it's super sharp and works great. The LCD70MD-3G Monitor I use in an IKAn monitor bracket with the Paralinx receiver and the Anton Bauer Mount to hand to a director to view footage. It's very sharp and the Directors love it. get the $19 Hoodman for it and you'll be set. And at the price, you can't beat it. Ozzie
Stavros Papastavrou
How about the ikan md7 vs the marshall v-lcd70md-3g then? Does it worth the extra 1000$, regarding sunlight/outdoor use? (its rated 1100nits 800:1 contrast ratio) Has anyone had the chance to compare them? Local dealers don't carry stock, so I can't demo them... Premium Members Osvaldo Silvera SOC Posted July 1, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted July 1, 2013 Can't comment on the Ikan, Ive never seen or used one. I believe if Marshall would come out with a non glossy screen for the 70MD-3G it would fare much better in the outdoors.
