Premium Members Alfeo Dixon SOC Posted December 23, 2015 Premium Members Report Share Posted December 23, 2015 Hey all, Has anyone found a way to protect the labels on a cables that already have connectors on it? -Alfeo
Premium Members Robert Starling SOC Posted December 24, 2015 Premium Members Report Share Posted December 24, 2015 What I've done in the past Alfeo is use a pair of super super skinny straight needle nose pliers to pry and stretch clear shrink wrap enough to slide it over the connector. There's a limit to connector size of course but that stuff will stretch quite a bit. Maybe not ARRI power stretch but easy for common Lemos. Once you heat it it goes back to normal shrunken size.Robert

Robert By Shrink wrap Robert may be referring to Elk intestine membrane or heat shrink tubing, not certain.

Premium Members TerryWest Posted December 28, 2015 Premium Members Report Share Posted December 28, 2015 I agree with Robert. But if you put a couple drops of Super Glue on the cable before you shrink it, then it will stay in place when it inevitably does a bit of re-expanding.
