Todd Ferguson
I saw on the news last night that the rumor is a new video Ipod. April first they said is when they would unvail and it's an anniversary of some kind. I want to say a 30 year anniversary.I'm suprised apple has not made it better yet! I think there are so many better video screen's out on the market in other devise's such as a PSP. It's a little big for our use and not quick enough menu use. The product they showed on TV was about the normal ipod size and had the touch wheel on a bigger touch screen. More wait and see I guess? Todd F. Premium Members RonBaldwin Posted March 22, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 22, 2006 looks like this thing needs a dock to interface with it when recording video? Pretty cool though. Still waiting for the folks at chasecam to: A call back B quit teasing us with pictures and get their recorder onto the market C call back rb
Premium Members Thomas English Posted March 23, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 23, 2006 chasecam would be great, there s a lot of SD card recorders coming onto the market at the moment though. Generally for around 100 USD. They all seem to be built around a very similar chipset (probably what the chasecam is also chasing). The chipset is very good and easy to use for recording/playback etc. What I would say while experimenting with mine is get good quality SD cards! I bought recorder in thailand where they are a plenty! there was a previous thread on this ipod unit http://www.steadicamforum.com/forums/index...?showtopic=2524
Premium Members Bryan Fowler Posted March 23, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 23, 2006 From what I read, some folks from Apple broke off and started this iSee thing. It's interesting, and I might be interested, but they would have to add compatability with the 60gb iPod. Right now it will only fit the 30gb and lower. =\ Or the Archos that everyone sings praises about.
