Premium Members RonBaldwin Posted November 26, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted November 26, 2006 ahhh, finally...the return of the long lost one-handed technique. I love operating above the gimbal in high mode -- it's nice to see someone else using it succesfully! rb

Michael Binder
it starts with explaining the camera. just the lens is about 10.000 euros he says. the special battery is just for powering the monitor about 5 hours. the monitor is larger than the usual ones. with a special wire, thats just made for this. and so it goes on. just explaining the specials, we others should get as soon as possible i think <_< . hard to translate, but funny to understand  [edit] after i have seen this, im annoying about spending money for upgrading our arm to 52 pounds, instead buing this wire ;)

Premium Members Dan Coplan Posted November 27, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted November 27, 2006 I think we're making too many assumptions and being too hard on the guy. Remember, there's a language barrier. The dude's from GermNay. I took text from the video and punched it into Alta Vista's translation site: Convert English to GermNan. "Steadicam" = "Seasick Cam" For that, I think he did a pretty stellar job. And you have to give the guy props for wearing a bright white hat on stage. Dan "Internationally Diplomatic" Coplan PS - Anybody know of any upcoming Seasick Cam workshops?
