10 Years of BFD's

Last Thursday was the 10th anniversary of the shipping of the first BFD's. Damn. When I designed this thing I thought I'd sell a hundred, maybe three hundred tops. As of Friday it was 1371 and sales are as strong as ever.

I just wanted to say a great big "THANK YOU" to everyone who has helped and supported me in this with all the kind words and recommendations to your peers. With your help the BFD is in use on every continent (except Antartica, those penguins are so snobby) and in over 50 countries. Your support has allowed me to avoid having to get a "real job" for 10+ years and to hang out in my garage and watch L & O/CSI reruns for hours every day. Basically, my idea of paradise.

Next get together, drinks are on me. Especially if it is in Ron Baldwin's back yard and he is providing the beer.

What? No mention of a 10th Anniversary Special Edition Signature Series? You know, something in titanium, with an engraved autograph, in a velvet-lined case? Pimp my BFD.

Thanks Jim!

Funny, i should mention that the BFD was used on antartica by me. So i guess its global now

Awesome Jim! I remember when you were starting out on this project, IIRC you used one of my Hedens to dial in the Motor amp!

Congrats and I can't wait to see what you come up with next!

Congratulations Jim! Very few businesses survive their first few years and making it to ten is a testament to you designing and building a great product, delivering on-time every time and of course the exceptional customer service... not to mention those great Hawaiian shirts you wear!

You're not just a manufacturer, you're a friend and we're all better because you are!
