I got myself the Glidecam HD4000, and I use that with the merlin vest. That way i can mount my monitor (SmallHD DP6) on the Glidecam HD4000, but i still have the dual spring arm and quality of the Steadicam merlin vest/Arm. I love the setup, its perfect for what I do. I only do HDSLR stuff obviously, and I havent done anything hardcore enough to warrant worrying about any wireless monitoring or focusing yet. this is without the mattebox and monitor. just the bare rig and camera.
