So that time is almost upon us, and in that vain it's time to figure out what to see.

Tiffen will be showing a few new things (so says the rumor mill)

But who else is going to be there and what will they be showing? So post up what you know and if you're going to be there. I know that Erwin, Robert Starling, Myself and a few others will be there starting on Tuesday.

See ya then!

Well I for one couldn't pay the vendor fee, but I do plan on holding a seminar in my hotel room, and I'm gonna call it "Sydnecation" where I'll demonstrate how my products will revolutionize the industry. Worshiping the ground I walk on is not only allowed but encouraged, for as everyone knows, I can do no wrong. Those little towels 24 Hour Fitness hands out will be available to make the marble floors easier on your knees (For a nominal fee of $3.50)

Not that it's exactly groundbreaking, but I'm scheduled to have my trumped-up DSLR setup on the Nimblecam at the IDX booth. Currently wielding a daily whip on the machinist to get everything ready on time.

That is, if I don't end up getting job X, and job Y pushes...

I'm going. Staying at the "luxurious" Riviera due to the cheap rooms.

Don't know about an Operator's night like last year?

There's a charity poker tournament with filmmakers at the Hard Rock on Monday night at 8pm. Has guys like Vincent Laforet and Rodney Charters playing in it.

Figure I'll check it out if I'm not hammered by then.

At least you'll have a special trash receptacle in your room for the used hypodermic needles!

You can and should do better than the Riviera; as a local it would be among the last choices among the many.

Look into booking through the NAB site. I got a room at New York New York for $89 a night. And there were cheaper options.

If anyone cares I'll be there Monday afternoon, all day Tuesday and all day Wednesday. Drinks, anyone?

Told myself this year that I would stay somewhere nicer than last year's Circus Circus $30 room. Ugh. That place sucked.

I guess I didn't aim that high again this year. And I even booked through NAB

But I am a Vegas noob and don't know about what's what.

I am down for drinks any and every night at a nicer hotel though!

Just got my info for Vegas... looks like they're putting us up at the Monte Carlo this year. I get in on Saturday mid-afternoon and would be down for anything... even a desert run... Robert???

FYI, usually the Tiffen/Steadicam ops from the booth will gather about an hour after the exhibit hall closes, at a downstairs bar area, to head out for dinner and trouble.
