Guess I will chime in here. I own both a PRO 2 sled and a Nexus AR sled. Both work very well. As per what people have said, yes you need to learn regular steadicam operating before you bust into this kind of investment. For my experience I use my PRO 2 sled all the time. When I go out for steadicam jobs it is the tool I always use. The AR is a specialty item. If the D.P. and director have AR shots and want to pay for it then thats when it is used. I've created killer shots with my AR and it works like a champ. It is way harder to operate than regular steadicam and it does take more physically out of you. I personally wouldn't want to be in the AR all day long on any show. Like I said it works for shots designed for the AR.

Kapil,

For your market out there in mumbai I think it would be a killer. The lengh of takes you have in some of your films and the camera/dance choreography I think it could be great.

It really depends what your shooting and its a tool for an application. I'll tell you what though, if I bought one I would fly to mumbai for a few months to really rinse it because of the nature of a lot of the shooting out there.
