About this pict...

I can calculate the weight/height range from gimbal to camera, and gimbal to monitor+batts+electronic... Could be he was working in neutral or low mode drop-time.

I suppose operator knows why he mades this S. Balance. Dynamic is an illusion.

Camera in..."that" way... May be (new invented) Don Juan position , or BAD PICTURE. May be, operator was looking for... A leed, a connector... Or dust at the lens

I wish, the operator had protections for him... "penis", it´s important.

From sled to camera there are only a cable... May be a BNC for monitor signal input, But, if the camera hasn´t batt...

I wish the best to Mr. Satchler´s company, of course, but to design a sled is very important the operators´opinion..

hi amando,i can give you humble advice,

we have a saying"practice what you preach"

so just be humble

fly safe

Curt Schaller invented the artemis camera stabilization system because he couldn't find a Steadicam vest to fit him. He is a vivacious, talented and seriously energetic man who loves to teach his craft. Come with your Steadicam vest and find out what makes him so special. Want details? marty@createasphere.com does the trick.

Hi, Marty!.

First, welcome to the forum. ;)

...mmm... TAKE IT EASY!

I can give you an advice, (humbly):

"The 3 monkeys rules". Not to hear, not to see, not to speak. At Spain, we said: "To see, to hear and don´t speak".

You have get more information about steadicam , almost CORRECT.

Try spend some time reading old post about steadicam history... Garret... J. H., G. P., R. L., and all people who increases a "camera stabilizator NOT invented for Mr. Satchler".

Best regards. B)
