hello to everyone.

I could try the PRO arm Eassyrig in Madrid.

The arm flies sweet and without any friction, but if you want a SHOT of the horizontal lower or higher you have to make a great effort to keep the height you want.

I made a shot under 1:30 minutes and I almost left the triceps.

is heavier than PRO_GPI arm and the springs are made of aluminum (no titanium).

My reflection is not comparable to PRO_GPI. play in different leagues.

you mean Easysteady not Easyrig, i guess?

that means, that one reason to go with the Easysteady Pro Series arm (the claimed isoelastic feel) is not real. ...at least the low friction is true...

what was the payload of the setup?

(was the arm at maximum load?)

thanks for your experience Jorge!

and are you sure, that you are talking about the pro series of easysteady? because it is so very different from what THEY say. ;)

have you seen the springs from outside? their pro series arm has spring canisters like the Pro arm.

That new arm looks a lot like Baer Bels old arm.

Ive had a Baer Bel arm for about 5 years now and it works great. You can tune it down for little cameras like F3s and up for the Alexa all with same spring set. Big boom range, Cool x joint that reduces clattering. I also have a 25 year old mk3 arm that works perfectly and 2 master arms that are great too. Overall though and for versatility, easy maintenance and value the Baer Bel is the one Id pick every time.

BTW I do represent Baer Bels gear in the UK

Just to throw in the mix

karsten.

(I made a mistake in the previous post, I meant EASYSTEADY)

total weight with camera sled was about 15-16 kg and light arm was 4 springs (springs aluminum)

the canisters are very similar to those of GPI_PRO

has no friction, works very smooth. the only negative thing is that NO ISOELSTIC arm and weighs little more than arm GPI_PRO

(Sorry for my English)
