Premium Members Sydney Seeber Posted September 16, 2010 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 16, 2010 fuck that and I jump out of airplanes but at least I've got a way to hit the ground at less than 120 miles an hour
Premium Members Thomas K. Jensen Posted September 16, 2010 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 16, 2010 OMG. I felt sick watching that. I would give up half way. Been to the top of a wind turbine on open sea, and that was scary, even when it was only 320 feet.
Premium Members JimBartell Posted September 16, 2010 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 16, 2010 That is about the craziest shit I've ever seen. I just about peed myself about halfway through. I'm amazed those guys were able to maneuver around so nimbly considering they must have the largest balls on any human being ever. I chuckled when they were talking about lightning and the announcer says "there's no quick way down". I beg to differ. It's just not one you want to use. I've also heard that they can only work on the tower for about 30 minutes at a time because their bodies begin to heat up from all the RF energy they are absorbing. These guys make me feel like a 6-year old girl, and I used to skydive too. Jim "cowering under his desk" Bartell

Whatever they pay those guys, it's not enough. I'd wear a base jumpers parachute just to avoid climbing back down. These dudes are just friggin' CRAZY!!
