Heden m26ve in cold temperatures

Hi Dougie!

Several times I had work for all night with the M26VE at -3 celsius / 26.6 Fahrenheit and I didn't have any problem with it! The real problem it's the condensation of internal circuits if you take the items (the receiver unit expecially) from an internal temperature to an external cold place, without switch on it's power.

Anyway... The Motor doesn't have any issue, take care of your receiver unit! It's the most delicate!

Seriusly... The water + the cold it's the key of your problem! the cold don't make anything to your motor... but when the water becomes ice... there its the big trouble!! The ice blocking the internal mechanisms! You must to keep dry the unit!

Attached... photo about: me, my assistant with Digifox Chrosziel + Heden M26VE, and my backup light rig for extreme "cold nights" jobs! ;-)

I also used many heden motors with my cmotion for 3D in extreme temps never problems.

Even outside of helicopter in freezing airstream in high altitude shooting 3D extreme skiing this year....

No problems at all....with camera, c-motion or Heden.
