Premium Members Ken Nguyen Posted May 9, 2011 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 9, 2011 Hi all, He claimed he invented this thing, but it is just a copy-then-modify of the Manfrotto Fig Rig. With this kind of camera, I can operate it handheld to create those shots (more steadier) all day long without the need of the Fig Rig or the copied Steadywings. Here is a photo of the "so-called" "inventor" in action: This can be related to the other post about the death of the student while filming. Cheers, Ken Nguyen. Premium Members James Davis Posted May 30, 2011 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 30, 2011 My favourite quote from his site: Bazin also is known as a proponent of "appreciative criticism," wherein only critics who like a film can write a review of it, thus encouraging constructive criticism. Premium Members Mark Karavite Posted February 20, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted February 20, 2012 You're right, as long as I can get $3500 a week for the Steadiwings, I'm in. Really Mikael, sell your rig? Please tell us you're joking.

TJ Williams
Yes $3500 per week for my new corvette steadi wings rig. Made from the steering wheel of a 1957 Corvette, and capable of the new Duntov move. No it is still not perfectly steadi but now we can stabilize in post so it is under the complete control of the producer. Hahhh expensive Steadicam rig owners, now Steadicam goes the way of the diffusion filter.....
