RobinThwaites Posted June 24, 2011 Report Share Posted June 24, 2011 Hi All Tiffen International are planning to run a GOLD 5 1/2 day workshop in England immediately after IBC this year. Location will be the head office of the SAE Institute just outside Oxford and the date proposed is 18th - 23rd September, this is a fantastic old building with plenty of space for working both outside and inside should the weather be typically English and raining. This will be a residential workshop with accommodation at a nearby hotel, cost for this will be included in the workshop charge. This cost has not been finalised but is likely to be in the region of GB£2,000.00 (plus VAT) including accommodation and full board. There will, of course, be a plentiful selection of current Steadicam rigs to use and instructors will be top UK and European operators from both the film and television world together with guest of honour Garrett Brown. Due to unforeseen circumstances we have had to change the date for this workshop to delay it a little so the date is now confirmed as starting on the 13th November. I started operating steadicam 9 years ago, but have never taken a "proper workshop" yet.
