Tyler Kaufman Posted September 22, 2011 Report Share Posted September 22, 2011 I've looked all over the message boards on the web and can't seem to find the information I need. I have the Steadicam Merlin with vest system that I am trying to balance with a Canon 1D Mark IV and Canon EF 16-35 2.8L lens. I have found plenty of information about balancing a Canon 5D or 7D, but those are totally different weights than the Mark IV. Has anyone balanced a Mark IV with the Merlin and had decent results? What mounting point are you using? What settings do you find work best? Any information or leads would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to message me. Thanks!
