Where do you mount the gyro below the gimbal? Towards the lens? How much stabilization does one KS-4 give you? And when would, and wouldn't you use it? Sorry if I hijacked your thread, Sandro. I'd love to compare one k6 vs one and two k4's. Then two k6's vs three k4's (which weigh about the same). I have rented them many times but have never had much time (or different sizes) to mess around. They are not magic or end-all-be-all stability devices. The more gyros you have (and the bigger they are), the more stability you are adding to your sled (as well as more weight and power consumption). The threshold is different for everyone and every shot. I'd venture to say that the most common gyro set-up is two KS-6s (one vertical & one horizontal).
