Trying to figure out the ergonomics there. Does you back still get tired from the rig or is it different when suspended? Looked like fun though.

He's actually standing in that harness and it's more comfortable than you would expect

Yes, you can stand in that harness, but you could " sit " in it too, wich could be more painfull.

Its very comfortable, hence my hours

On the Strada the trapeze bar for the grip to hang onto while you are released is a good idea, but leaves some scary openings for mishap. Were you doing a walk away (step off) after landing ?

It was a trainings day Will, so the 6 hours was completly my fault, i didnt want to get off hahaha

I have a day coming up where we are gonna use this.

Sanjay The grip bar isnt a problem at all, and yes, when you land you can walk away without any stops. Very cool

Job,

I own a Strada, and I had the trapeze replaced by a snap shackle. I had a grip weighted appropriately in a harness, so I could clip him in, rather than rely on him holding on. Did it once, just for novelty I think. Never flew it manned again.

Will Arnot - congratulations on the SOC award !

oh yes, we also had a grip with a vest full of weight, the handle was just for the other 2 grip guys to grab it and hold it long enough to make sure the third gripper unhooked me and the other guy was already hanging. ( all in a second or less ) Teaching was done by a gripper who works for that compagny and knows all of the saftey things.
