Premium Members Kevin Andrews SOC Posted February 15, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted February 15, 2012 Trying to figure out the ergonomics there. Does you back still get tired from the rig or is it different when suspended? Looked like fun though.

Its very comfortable, hence my hours

Were you doing a walk away (step off) after landing ?

I had a grip weighted appropriately in a harness, so I could clip him in, rather than rely on him holding on. Did it once, just for novelty I think. Never flew it manned again. Will Arnot - congratulations on the SOC award !
Premium Members JobScholtze Posted February 16, 2012 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted February 16, 2012 oh yes, we also had a grip with a vest full of weight, the handle was just for the other 2 grip guys to grab it and hold it long enough to make sure the third gripper unhooked me and the other guy was already hanging. ( all in a second or less ) Teaching was done by a gripper who works for that compagny and knows all of the saftey things.
