One of the great things here is that for those of us who already own a PRO Titan arm, our canisters will fit the new Atlas so all we have to do is buy the empty arm. This is a stroke of BRILLIANCE and smart marketing / engineering from PRO! We can now fly lighter rigs and cameras without the few additional pounds of the larger arm, though the Titan arm already flies smaller packages just fine.

The other great thing for new operators or operators who use smaller arms now is that when you're ready or need to step up to the Titan you'll already have half the canisters you need for the larger arm.

I'm already on the list for an Atlas as my new live work / lightweight / rig arm and backup.

The arm flew GREAT! Silky smooth, like anything you'd expect from PRO, and the arm feels SOLID. Booms feel just like they do on my TITAN. The smaller profile of the ATLAS gives even better visibility to view your monitor.

Jack and Co. have knocked it out of the park once again! B)

Another great thing is that, for those of us newer operators who don't fly 50+lb. cameras, this will be a more affordable option than trying to buy a full sized PRO arm. Waiting with anticipation to hear the price point so I can start saving (once I start getting better gigs :P)

Does anyone know when specs will be released? I'm especially curious to know if this could support a lightweight RED package, assuming a light enough sled.

It seems like a great move though - between this and the dominance of the original PRO arm, PRO really will own the arm market, and they've done it without pissing off their current customers! I tip my hat to everyone over at PRO!

Just look at the lifting capacity chart on the pro website and add a few pounds and.you will have an approx lift. Two things... 1-wtf is a titan and 2-vote for pedro

Atlas is the smaller two spring arm and the Titan is the existing four cartridge pro arm. Lifting capacity is on par with G50 with the added bennifit of not seeing your footsteps in the shot
