Solid performance, but not Eric's best. Of course, he's probably working while I'm catching up on Californication.
chad mason
Here is some ATLAS video fodder for your speculation until we can get you some actual specs...which are on their way. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8LzCnZtFqN0
Premium Members Kevin Andrews SOC Posted April 10, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 10, 2012 Atlas is the smaller two spring arm and the Titan is the existing four cartridge pro arm. Lifting capacity is on par with G50 with the added bennifit of not seeing your footsteps in the shot Oh, that's a decent lift. Wonder what the pricing will be indeed... Premium Members Eric Fletcher S.O.C. Posted April 10, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 10, 2012 Just look at the lifting capacity chart on the pro website and add a few pounds and.you will have an approx lift. Two things... 1-wtf is a titan and 2-vote for pedro Probably be able to get 45 lbs. out of two black springs. Yup, but there is something else.... And with that you will get more
Premium Members JobScholtze Posted April 10, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 10, 2012 Hmm, just bought a second pro arm, didnt get this one for free with it :P As i was told, it wouldnt hold 50lbs, if it das, then my info from pro is wrong. Cant wait to see the specs
Premium Members RonBaldwin Posted April 10, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 10, 2012 What I meant was...two springs in the new smaller arm will probably be in the same ballpark as the full size arm +a few pounds (depends how much lisagav they ise in this one, ofcourse)

Premium Members Andrew Ansnick Posted April 11, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 11, 2012 I have flown an earlier prototype of the Atlas arm and even then, while in its early stages, I can confirm that this new arm is every bit as good as its big brother. In the last several months designs have been improved, specs changed, wheels reinvented, etc. etc. Some of you may have heard different things at different times throughout the R&D process and if this info came from anyone at PRO then you should rest assured that it was accurate and based off whatever the facts were at that time. That being said.....until the production model's specs/prices are released, we will just have to wait and see. Start saving your monies now, because you want to be on this list, I promise you. I am eagerly anticipating the day when I can pick up mine :D

Premium Members Andrew Ansnick Posted April 11, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 11, 2012 Chad - Never thought I'd see that photo declassified! I figured it was lost to history and the top secret archives of George Paddock, along with the Holy Grail, the Ark of the Covenant, and the formula for Lisagav. Premium Members Brian Freesh Posted April 11, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 11, 2012 Technically there is no formula for Lisigav. Ron once explained to me it involves a dominatrix Faery, a Unicorn, and the tears from the silent cries of 1000 Strippers blessed by a Clown over a Panaglide with copious amounts of beer. There may have been more, but he stopped making sense.
