Paralinx Arrow

When the arrow is docked it essentially becomes one unit with one power supply. The arrow stays firmly in the dock. It's not something that everyone needs, but it allows a native hd-sdi solution without the need to purchase a new model. Using a decimator with a separate power cable for each works fine; that's what I normally do. The price point for the crossbow will be under $300.

Ah, the difference is the subtraction of a power cable and a couple hundred dollars. Impressed with the price point! Will the crossbow ultimately have an HDSDI pass thru?

Paralinx is announcing the Tomahawk, a new native HD-SDI receiver that works with existing transmitters. The Tomahawk increases the range to 1200ft.

So you could have an Arrow plus with the crossbow on the camera, and a HDMI Receiver on a DP7pro for the DP/1AC and a tomahawk on a larger client monitor! Nice

Crossbow, Tomahawk, Arrow. I'm sensing a theme.

All kidding aside, if the HDSDI receiver is in the offing, then this becomes a pretty flexible package of transmitters and receivers.

Now, the proof is in the products. I'd love to see them, out of beta and into market items. I like to put my hands on things, or at least see that they are in production before I buy them.
