Loonworks missing

I have heard this same story many times before on this board. Why do people continue to do business with vendors that ignore their customers. Do yourself a favor and buy a Heden motor (if you are using analog) and keep your M1 as a back-up if you ever get it back.

Thanks for the tip Lawrence.

What's the best analog Heden motor for you?

PS: Don I have just responded telling me that I sent the engine Monday... is true? ... hopefully good

Hi everyone

I am very sorry to inform you all that Heden has now STOPPED making their best analog motor the M28vp (I have 8 and love each and every one of them ) I have just got the last one from Magnus this week .

who else to go to ? good question there is no one else.

Good luck

Louis

3 years waiting,Don has two motors from me and I'm still waiting.

You win Juan. I thought I had it bad with about a year and a half turn around.

If anyone is still waiting on their motor, best advise I could give is call daily and call from phone numbers he may not know. Also try emailing him. It came down to me having to threaten legal action if I didn't receive a working motor or my money back before he finally did what he said he would. It's a shame but I agree with Lawrence; there are too many negative stories about Don's customer service to have our community continue to support him and his products. Don't buy a M1 or any products from Loonworks.

I know a little off topic...

It's usually when you try to save some money, that's when they get you!

Very important to stick with a reputable and long standing company.

Everybody is moaning about the price of the likes of Preston, but did you ever hear about stories like that?

Wait a little longer, save and then spend the cash once and be done with it.

I am very sorry to hear things like that from Don. Looks like he went the patch of the non reputable companies like CIT and the likes. Don't know what to say or advice... short of just showing up on the door step and demanding your money back. Don't get the motor, get the cash and buy something with a better costumer support.

Good luck!!!

Idk, I sent a motor to Don for a repair recently because it was acting a bit twitchy. I received great communication, phone and email, and a fast 3 day turn around.

Kevin,

Next time you talk to him, you might want to make him aware about the bad press he is getting here?

A little post would go far right now...

Just a thought...

I agree with Erwin that Don should know but I have little faith it will make much difference. When I was going through my ordeal with him, I spoke with him and explained that there was a growing number of people frustrated with his customer service. It was a good talk and he promised he would be working hard to remedy the problem, only to turn around delay my motor another couple of months. Good luck to all involved.

You are very lucky Kevin .

I did hear somewhere that Don may consider selling just the Potentiometer to people as it seems to be the main problem in many of his motors that I have had .I hope that it is true .I hope thing turn around for him as we all know customer support is everything .

I have sent Don this link .
