Premium Members Wolfgang Troescher Posted September 5, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 5, 2012 Very interesting alternative to Paralinx/Arrow, I think: Teradek Bolt: http://vimeo.com/m/48671603 http://www.teradek.com/bolt About 2000 $, and has HD SDI! Premium Members William Demeritt Posted September 5, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 5, 2012 Awesome! I cannot wait to see how it handles other frame rates, etc, but otherwise, very impressive!

Premium Members Joshua Gitersonke Posted September 6, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 6, 2012 The great thing about it is that it will send to 256 receivers all at once. Everybody on set can see your shiny image.
Premium Members David M. Aronson Posted September 6, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 6, 2012 Wow. If it works well, this might be the Canatrans of the 21st century. I want one in my kit already!

Premium Members Joel San Juan Posted September 11, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 11, 2012 Hi, Got to check out the Bolt at IBC. First impression, its really really small and light. Its a simple slick design and the image is clean with no visible delay. The receiver at the show that I saw was still the HDMI version but it was still pretty good. There's well placed mounting points. The only thing i hope might change is the internal battery on the TX. Am not sure if i remembered clearly but the run time per full charge according to the guy at the booth is 90min, i think.. Overall am very pleased with the design and the function. Its simple. Best J.

Premium Members Bo Baraniak Posted September 12, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 12, 2012 I managed to check out the bolt at IBC but to be honest it was difficult TO gauge an opinion with regard to its performance. The very small, compact kit was on display but It was not possible to test it further. Another notable wireless system was the IDX CW 1. Even smaller than the Bolt but with a range of 30 metres and a price of approximately 1300 euros!
Mark Baluk
The IDX looks like rebranded WHDI, no?
Premium Members Alan Rencher Posted September 12, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 12, 2012 The CW-1 looks exactly like the Paralinx Arrow, which is also based of of Amimon's WHIDI Stick.
