Premium Members Osvaldo Silvera SOC Posted October 21, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 21, 2012 If we hadn't seen any pictures of the first prototype brown stabilizer we'd laugh at that one too. Everyone makes what they can with what they can. How much is 10,000 ZAR anyway?
Premium Members Mark Schlicher Posted October 21, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 21, 2012 About $1200 USD. I wonder where this is actually made and sold. It's priced in South African Rand currency, but other countries in the region use the Rand also. It is impressive what people can do with very few resources by western standards. For instance, life-saving bio-sand water filters in Zambia, hand-built out of sand and concrete by teams of workers who walk up to ten miles to work.
