RTMotion Systems MK3

Just received my mk3.1 and 1st AC was very happy with it. Calibration is slick and motor was silent, also very fast and no lag as long as you set it up right.

Karl, so did you buy your unit brand new from MKV? Is it a three motor system? How much did you spend total on yours, and what did you get with your package, cables, etc?

Managed this rushed demo, hope its useful.

Just showing smooth calibration and fast response. As with all wireless devices when its too close it loses signal.

Hey Karl,

That looks awesome. Thanks for your video. It helps a lot. Are you happy with overall response, range and performance of the system? I've heard from a lot of people that RTmotion service is not so good.

Well, the wait time was hard but I am kind of tolerant of small tech businesses, they are all at the mercy of their suppliers. They have evolved the design and its perfect for my needs. For the price I am more than happy. The firmware upgrade process is simple, and the built in antennas are a real winner for me. When I can I will buy a couple more motors and add the zoom control.

Hey Karl,

Is it possible to have another go with sound? just to get an idea of the motor sound while doing a quick focus?

Hey KArl,

Is it possible to have another quick video with sound to check motor noise on a quick focus?

I placed my order for about 3 weeks ago from RT motion and they are definitely slow at returning emails, but they have been communicative which is deifnitely a plus.

My ordering process through paypal was a bit of joke and they didn't even acknowlage the payment until I contacted them.

With that being said nothing seems to come close for the price so I'll wait.

As of now I was told they were moving into a larger space to help amp up orders, so inturn I beleive the customer service will come right along with that....hopefully.

Bought new from RT Motion. Single motor, transmitter has focus, Iris and convergence controls and can be upgraded to zoom, also got slave thumbwheel and three cables, was £3540 plus VAT.

How was your wait time considering your practically neighbors with RT Motion, still around the 5 week mark thats generally quoted?

Also how do you like the thumbwheel, your using it to pull focus I'm guessing? That's the one piece of kit I would've liked to add to my order.
