Will these Upper and Lower J-boxes work with existing centerpost cables? That looks sexy!

chad mason
What is the schematics? it looks like a AB battery attachment... It attaches to the AB gold mount plate. It is an adjustable landing pad in case you fly only one or two batteries on the rear. Being detachable if you wish to fly three!

What this means is that no matter what Pro Gen 2+ part you have it will work. Want to only fly a DSLR? use the Gen IV base, base gimblal and a Dbox2, Pair it with a Atlas arm and you have a sweet lightweight rig with NO compromises.. Need to fly something heavy? Change battery bases and go with a Dbox 3 if you want use the Titan arm and you're good to go. Leverage your investment from the first time you buy. Well Done to the Gang at PRO.

Premium Members Erwin Landau Posted January 30, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted January 30, 2013 I have to get used to that picture... Any particular reason why they went with the 4 pin Hirose for Video/Power instead of the 4 pin Lemo? And hey I can use my XCS power cables!!! Premium Members Eric Fletcher S.O.C. Posted January 30, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted January 30, 2013 BTW Guys that means you can get into a NEW Sled for about $17500 add an arm and suit (~$16500) and you are looking at `$34000 before the monitor and batteries of you choice That's a pretty smoking deal....
Premium Members Tommy Stork Posted January 30, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted January 30, 2013 I have to admit that when Jack began to discuss the idea of a new sled I was hesitant to accept the idea. Our gear is so damn good and reliable already. Why mess with perfection? But when Jack, Chad and John Perry began discussing the details of the new rig I quickly became a convert to this new endeavor. Because of its modularity it's more like they added another head to the Hydra than made a new sled. In my very biased opinion this new addition to the PRO family tree kicks ass and will be a major asset to those working in live television wanting to upgrade to PRO's time-tested innovation, reliability, durability and excellent customer service. Sorry if that sounds like sales pitch, but what can I say? I love our gear and believe in it! Great job fellas!
