Premium Members John Buzz Moyer Posted February 9, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted February 9, 2013 Exceptional, I have no doubt he would have the same results with a number of equipment options.

Premium Members Andrew Fletcher Posted February 20, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted February 20, 2013 Absolutely love it. You have nailed the slow moves, this one is about talent rather than kit.

Fabian Begnert
Really, REALLY inspiring, incredibly beautiful. You should be proud Mike, make this video your only showreel. But where does the question of post-stabilization come from? He already had the best stabilizer in the business (a steadicam). I mean, post-stabilization wasn't exactly standard when shooting was done on film, and equally impressive shots have been done with that medium.. Adam Eden
Excellent work, those slow moves are amazing and the framing is truely fantastic. Well done
Dan Maxwell
Inspiring indeed. I am a relative newbie and feel it is important for Mike and others like him to show what can be achieved. I look forward to my training and practice paying off and having a shot like that to be proud of. To those that were so interested in the question of post stabilisation. Perhaps you should have instead asked what forms of practice, training, experience and time mastering the art of Steadicam lead to such an impressive display of talent. Mike I thank and commend you. Premium Members Lars Erik Posted March 24, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 24, 2013 Clicked play, saw the video, and then it ended. Damn, those 3 minutes went by so fast because I was totally glued to the screen. Inspiring.
Premium Members Jeff Muhlstock SOC Posted March 24, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 24, 2013 Mind blowing excellence ! Bravo. I would consider that to be one of the most technically perfect, operated Steadicam shots I have every seen. So simple, but pure. I have finally found someone who can shoot for me when I hang it up... (half kidding). This work is what every operator should be searching for, precision moves, a constant speed on the slow creep, timing, perfect headroom/composition. I applaud you ! Premium Members Christopher Lee Morsby Posted April 2, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 2, 2013 I have worked with Mike long before, I began operating steadicam and must say, he is so talented and has it down to a science. Working as a Grip, I have spotted and moved with him on a number of shots and must say post stabilization is not needed! Truly one of my biggest Inspirations in this field! Awesome Mike, i am going to add similar shots to the practice routine! See you soon!

Igor Votintsev
Excuse me, guys, but I can't be silent. Please, look attentively. I see very qualitative stedi-shot until the beginning solo (0'40''). I see normal errors on the vertical and gorizontal movement. And it is normal, the operator goes, bears, the heavy camera and breathes. His muscles are strained.Once again I repeat, until the beginning solo I see VERY QUALITATIVE stedi-shot, but real! Then everything changes. And the picture becomes "frozen". Why only I see one it? Excuse for my English.
