Thank you so much for your post here, but I would urge you to be very specific about who and what kind of equipment you write. There are two Steadicam related products out there called "Omega...". One is made by MK-V is called "Omega R" and I can assure you (first hand knowledge), their electronics and software is FAR from a $79 dollar controller. That thing actually works. The other one is made by Branch-Q (Howard Smith) and called "Omega lite". I have no first hand knowledge about it, but it looks like a gimbal spinoff. Does your post refer to this product?
