Good news... It looks like I'll pick up the HC's on Thursday, assemble and case them and ship them out on Friday (if all goes well).

13/15 are sold.

For those of you that paid your $500 deposit, go ahead and send the balance ($2000) to my paypal (or to my house for those of you that sent me a check) and I'll ship as soon as I receive payment.

Also, for those of you using paypal, please send me an email (mcgowanpro@aol.com, same as my paypal) with the following information:

Shipping name

Shipping address

Leave at door or signature required

Shipping phone number

Your paypal account name (so I know which person I'm shipping to)

Also, I'm paying for ground FedEx in the US. If you are outside the US or want it faster than ground, please include your FedEx account and instructions.

Thanks!

I came to the conclusion that some people do not need or use the Pelican 0340 case that I ship the HyperCam with. I use one but it is a big case and not everybody drives a large truck.
If you want a HyperCam but do not want the Pelican 0340, I will sell them for $2200 and ship them in a FedEx box. You would still get all the tools and extra parts, just not the case.
$2500 with case
$2200 without case
Still have one or two available.
Thanks,
mm.

Lol, your count is off by six (I listed them on FaceBook as well). But I now have them being made on an ongoing basis so I always have one or two in stock.

PayPal: mcgowanpro@aol.com

$2500 with case $2000 without, I pay shipping in the US, your FedEx account if you want it faster than ground or overseas.

Tnx,

mm

Hi Mike!

So good to have witnessed your meteoric rise all these years!

I have just paid for your incredibly designed piece of machinery!

I remember seeing your first vid so long ago of the one you made

for yourself. I have a job starting mid July and would love to receive

it by then. Let me know if possible or not.

Cheers and thank you!

Just noticed that the post to dampener screw (only on the 750 dampener, on the most recent batch of HC3's) is a few threads shorter than it should be. I'll have longer screws on the ones I ship out from now on but the ones sold in the last few months may want to get a slightly longer screw. That being said, it's unlikely anybody has used the 750 dampener as it's (from my experience) way more rigid than it needs to be.

Fly safe!

I've used a movi on it but I just bolted the movi directly to the hypercam. I'm guessing you could bolt the post arm connection along with the dampener block directly to the movi as well. Just not sure what the spacing is on the holes on the movi as you have two fixed holes on the hypercam dampener. Worst case I'm sure you could have a small plate made to go from dampener to movi but i found it super easy to just bolt it directly to the hypercam.

Hope that answers your question.

A few people have asked about using gyros on the hypercam. A few people have given it a try so I decided to try it a few days ago. I'm not sure if it's in the ideal place but it definitely added some smoothness to the operation. We were doing between 20 and 40 mph on a pretty hard packed dirt road. The vehicles were bouncing all over but the image was near Libra head smooth. Pretty cool stuff.

Will attach a picture of the set up (if I can figure out how to add a picture to a post on the forum).

If anyone is interested, I have a rental HyperCam that I'm selling. It has light cosmetic scratches but is mechanically perfect.

$1500 with no case, $1700 with a used case.

I also have 3 new rigs available with or without cases ($2500/$2000).

I pay shipping in the US.

Tnx!
