Premium Members Mitch Mommaerts Posted August 7, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted August 7, 2013 Just came across this thread looking for another topic so thought I'd drop by and share my quick review from using the Zalex handle for a couple months. Installation was extremely easy, even with an older drill press without the drill. Definitely the best way as recommended by Peter and the instructions if you're extremely meticulous like I am. After using larger handles on bigger rigs extensively for 7 days it was a must have coming home to my flyer. It was an easy investment as I have much more control over pan and tilt. The added length is also nice for starts and stops. I was about to sell my flyer but will hang on to it as my second rig for a while longer. When it comes time to sell my rig, I'm sure this will be a very attractive feature as it will allow new operators to practice their grips as they would use on a larger rig. Or in my case make jumping between rigs feel a bit more like home. Looking forward to more Zalex stuff. Mitch
Premium Members Peter Abraham Posted August 7, 2013 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted August 7, 2013 Thank you, Mitch- and everyone else who is enjoying the handle. Makes me feel great to know folks are getting the most out of their rigs. More Zalex stuff? Well, there's the Tally Light system for live broadcast work that is in stock and shipping out every week or so to another Operator somewhere on the planet, and a few other irons in the fire... Best to all, Peter
Premium Members Peter Abraham Posted February 24, 2014 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted February 24, 2014 Since the first production run sold out and I've been sending out some of the second set of Zalex Flyer Handles, I thought I'd bump this thread and spread the word again. Glad that the older Gen 1 Flyer sleds are still out there, being used consistently to make good shots ! PM me here with any questions on the Zalex Flyer Handle. Remember, it goes for $ 200.00 USD + Shipping. Best to all, Peter Abraham, S.O.C.
