Premium Members Matthew L. Perez Posted July 8, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted July 8, 2013 Would anyone happen to know of a company that makes rain gear for Steadicam Flyers? I have a Flyer le and was looking into getting some rain gear for it not sure where to look. Any suggestions would be helpful! -Thanks Matt mperez135@hotmail.com
Premium Members Victor Lazaro Posted July 8, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted July 8, 2013 I've been looking around for a solution as well for my Zephyr. The best I've found is large trash bags (take the transparent ones so you can still read your battery level) with a bongo to hold it shut and a large ziplock bag on the monitor close it with some tape. Add som Press'N' Seal http://www.glad.com/food-storage/plastic-wrap/press-n-seal/ and you're good to go. Not ideal, but probably the best so far for the medium size rigs. Premium Members Matthew L. Perez Posted July 8, 2013 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted July 8, 2013 Thanks Victor, I actually did use garbage bags on one shoot but it was spur of the moment because it started raining on shoot I was on. I'll check out the press and seal that glad makes.
