Jim Fackert
Does anyone know the connector brand, part number and wiring for 24 volt acessory power connectors on Arri cameras? Is there any kind of standard or most used type for 24 power among the various camera brands and models, or are they all different? and... is there a good source for lemo and other types of connectors for cameras? Thanks!
Premium Members Jens Piotrowski SOC Posted August 29, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted August 29, 2013 Arri uses Fisher connectors, not Lemo. Just Google it or download the Alexa manual and look at the pin configuration.

Thanks! The small three pin RS connector on the side is a fischer connector, part number S 102 A052-130+ Make sure you get the corresponding collet for it as well: E3 102.5/4.7 I have ordered mine before from Kensington Electronics, inc. (http://www.keiconn.com/) based out of Texas. That 3 pin connector is about 40 bucks, with the collet being an additional 5. If anyone else has a cheaper source, I would love to know about it! For Lemo connectors (used on just about every camera and rig out there) I use PEI Genesis (http://www.peigenesis.com/). They have great service, good prices, and have a warehouse just one state over from me (=fast shipping) I hope that helps! P.S. The pin out for that connector is as follows: 1) Ground 2) +24v 3) Start/Stop

Premium Members JimBartell Posted September 6, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 6, 2013 Some alternate sources are Newark (http://www.newark.com/) for Fischer and Mouser (http://www.mouser.com/) for Lemo. Always nice to have an alternate source. Gotta support another Michigan boy. Jim Bartell

That's sales speak for knock off connector and I don't know of any Lemo or Fischer knockoff that actually works well. Yes you might save a few bucks buying the knockoff but is it REALLY worth it when it doesn't work when you are working? Buy it right the first time and save money in the long run

Our users accept it because of the high quality and the interchangable ,What's more, a reasonable price. If you feel it is necessary, we could use the same or better material wiith the original, also cheaper than original. Our connectors prove to be good performance in many equipments for many years. Thats a rather feeble excuse for buying fake connectors if you ask me....
