Premium Members daniel hanit Posted February 11, 2014 Premium Members Report Share Posted February 11, 2014 Hi guys, I have 2 gimbals that need a check up and at least one of them needs an overhaul. Who does these things other than Tiffen? Thanks!

Premium Members daniel hanit Posted February 13, 2014 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted February 13, 2014 Thanks for the tip Rob! Apparently it was just an issue of centering the gimbal to the sled with small spacers, and I managed to do it by myself. All the best, Daniel
Ale Reynoso
Hi:would you please advice me regarding the use of spacers? We have an EFP gimbal with some freeplay and we were wondering if it was a matter of adding spacers. Thanks!
Premium Members daniel hanit Posted June 3, 2014 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted June 3, 2014 Hi, Spacers should fix the problem. You should static balance the sled and pan 90 degrees and see if you retain perfect horizon, and then another 90 degrees until you cover 360 degrees. If the sled doesn't stay level then you should know where you should use the spacers. Let me know if that works for you. Premium Members Per-Kristian Henriksen Posted June 12, 2014 Premium Members Report Share Posted June 12, 2014 Hey guys!I've got an EFP gimbal as well that isn't feeling so good.Does Robert Luna have an E-mail address? That would bit a bit simpler for me as I live in Europe.. :) Or maybe somebody else if anyone knows of anybody in Europe who does this? I've been in touch with MK-V but I though the price was a bit steep for my taste. Thanks in advance!-P.K
