Alrighty folks they are here. Alexa to Pro style Dovetail. These don't raise the camera yet provide almost 2" of side to side adjustment while mounted to the DBox. Available on Film-stuff.com in both the long version you see here (Perfect for 19-90 zooms) and a shorter version for Primes. Long version Price is $650 with the Primes version going for $575

Just curios Eric, why do you think you need the side to side adjustment? I have never had an Alexa that wasn't close to being balanced down the center. And why not cut the top stage/PRO plate side angle right into the plate so as to eliminate the need for the extra plate? (I think I know the answer to that: compatibility issues). And can one attach 15mm rods to the front?

Lawrence, the plate does have the dovetail, so it will mount directly to the steadicam, with no other plate needed. The extra threaded holes were added so the plate could have other uses as well.

Thanks for clearing that up. Couldn't tell from the pictures. Looks nice.

I just checked this out today and it is very well done. To my knowledge, it is the only one plate solution for the Alexa since it has the adapter built in and mounts directly to the D-Box. I, too, like to keep my D-Box roughly centered so any weird accessories or changes never threaten your side-to-side needs. I have found myself with only a turn or two left with the Alexa so this could certainly come in handy. Well done. I'm looking forward to trying it!

Except Jarrett the panavision plate is side to side adjustable while mounted on the Dbox and the dovetail is machined slightly undersized

I agree that yours is a better design, for sure. It looks to be easier to install. I was just mentioning that there is an all in one version from Panavision. I didn't have any problems with size on the one I used; locked down just fine...
