Premium Members brooksrobinson Posted February 19, 2014 Premium Members Report Share Posted February 19, 2014 Im selling my rickshaw. I had it built four years ago by Paul Clarke of Herb Aults Griptrix. I have yet to use it on a job and it takes up a bit too much room in my garage. It has 20 inch front bicycle wheels (plus a spare) and a single swivel wheel on the back. The rear wheel can be moved forward and back as needed for stability and handling. The seat riser in the photos is a fixed 16 inch, and it comes with both 11 inch and 24 inch risers to accommodate various operating heights. The seat can also be mounted directly to the base for low shots and comes with a seatbelt. The push-bar seen in the photos is relatively short and narrow, but also comes with longer/wider speedrail for use when necessary. The vertical mounting post can switch from left to right depending on your operating preference, and is braced to both the rear post and footrest for rigidity. It is seen in the photos with a wide axle, but comes with a somewhat narrower axle for use when space is tight. It also comes with a 1 inch axle for use with balloon sand wheels (not included - $150/each online). The only downside I can see is that it is big and cumbersome and a bit of a pain to break down if you dont have a large van or truck. For this reason, I would prefer a local buyer in the Los Angeles area. I dont have a dollar number in my head so please PM me or email me with questions or offers. Thanks for looking. Premium Members JamieSilverstein Posted February 27, 2014 Premium Members Report Share Posted February 27, 2014 Hi Brooks; I am currently in the market for a rickshaw, but alas I am in NYC. If you don't find any buyers in the area and are willing to pack it to ship let me know, maybe we can work something out. Jamie
