Premium Members John Stout Posted March 14, 2014 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 14, 2014 We just upgraded to the PRO vest and are trying to figure out a case for it. We tried putting it in the previous vest case the SKB version of a 1650, but it is not fitting well. The case doesn't close easily and we don't want to take the vest apart. Any suggestions since we are flying with it? John
Premium Members Andrew Ansnick Posted March 25, 2014 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 25, 2014 I use the Pelican Storm im2950, which I think is the same size case for my PRO Vest. It required some foam to be cut from the lid and I have a custom insert made for it by Charlie at Master Cases. It's a snug fit but I can put my vest, two PRO arms, and still have room for an accessories/spares kit and tool pouch.
Premium Members John Stout Posted March 26, 2014 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted March 26, 2014 Yeah, we ended up getting things in to the one we had. Just didn't want to mash things too much. John
