When will we know the prices on the new units?

Hey Daniel,

Sorry for the delay. The models have slightly changed since we announced them back at NAB. The 300, 600 and 2000 receivers all come with USB 3.0 outputs. The 600 and 2000 model TX come in HDMI only, 3G-SDI only, or dual input (HDMI and 3G-SDI). The new 300 model only comes in dual input.

All dual input TX units come with dual output RX (HDMI and 3G-SDI + USB 3.0). If you get a single input model, you get a single output RX of the matching input you chose. Of course, you can mix and match if you like.

Bolt Pro 300 (HDMI and 3G-SDI only units will still remain the same as the old model for now. There is only one new 300 model and thats the dual input / dual output)

Dual Input: $2990

Bolt Pro 600

HDMI: $4990

3G-SDI: $5490

Dual Input: $5990

Bolt Pro 2000

HDMI: $7490

3G-SDI: $8490

Dual Input: $8990

*Note: The old Bolt 2000 receivers will work with the new Bolt 2000 system

Bolt Pro 2000 Upgrade Program

1. Turn your old Bolt 2000 system in and add $500, you get a brand new Bolt Pro 2000 SDI input, SDI output + USB 3.0

2. Turn your old Bolt 2000 system in and add $1000, you get a brand new Bolt Pro 2000 Dual Input (SDI / HDMI) + Dual Out (SDI / HDMI) + USB 3.0

hey Mike,

do you have something in mind for the original bolt pro users? an upgrade path perhaps or a rebate of sorts?

Hi Evrim,

Unfortunately, we do not. There will only be an upgrade program for the Bolt 2000.

I'd love to see a performance test for range, etc. However, one potential deal breaker for people is the lack of multicast in the IDX CW-3. At NAB, they indicated it wouldn't happen in the future for that model either.

Also, the CW-7 doesn't have external antennas, which for me is the huge breakthrough of the latest round of transmitters.

Hey Guys,

I wanted to give you a quick update about some of the new features coming out for the updated Bolt 300, 600, and 2000 models:

1. Manual frequency selection (just like Boxx)

2. LED signal strength indicator (no more guessing!)

3. Scaler on the RX (transmit at one resolution / manually choose what to output on each RX) -- this one will come out a little later

4. All units are multicast capable up to 4 receivers

5. 600 and 2000 models allow pairing of additional receivers in the field via the LCD screen

6. Battery plate mounts for all models. They will come in AB or V-mount or even Sony/Canon/Panasonic varieties. They can be single sided or dual sided. These are additional costs.
