F55 Psf issue with Cinetronic

does anyone have a work around for not being able to see an image on a Cinetronic 2 from the F55?

Also, my Cinetronic 1 wont display an image above 30 fps from the F55, nor will a tv logic. Got hosed on that issue trying to shoot 60 frames on a stunt.

Changed the frame rate settings, once the settings were in effect I was blind. Couldn't change the settings with out a Sony viewfinder(we had the more robust PV version) and or Sony onboard monitor(my first was using the TVLogic).

I attempted to do the firmware update with my Decimator 2 today, but wasn't successful. What exactly is it that I need to do to update it properly to convert the PsF through the HDMI output to the HDMI input? I just received my Gen2 and immediately left to do a job for a few weeks that unfortunately is shooting on F55. I really want to use my new monitor on this job if I can, considering I feel I paid good money for it. I have the weekend to figure this out if I can.

What about the cross convertors? Is there anything special you need to setup on those, or do they convert the signal right out of the box?

You need to enable HDMI scaling on the Decimator 2 in order to use it for this purpose. You need a Windows computer and the Decimator control panel software available on their website. Once installed and your Decimator 2 is connected, you enable scaling in those menus. Once scaling is enabled, any HDSDI feed will be scaled to HDMI per your settings on the scaling menu, and output to the HDMI port on the Decimator.

When doing the firmware update on the Decimator 2, there are two options for either 32 or 64 Bit. Does it matter which one you choose? Once you make the choice and have the Decimator plugged into the PC, will it update the Downconvertor or do I need to perform a click and drag? I know these might be remedial questions for some, but I'm not always the best with computers. Sorry.
