Premium Members Jarrett P. Morgan Posted August 3, 2014 Premium Members Report Share Posted August 3, 2014 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GYxH2-WeZYWho was the op? Some really nice work in there.
Premium Members Osvaldo Silvera SOC Posted August 4, 2014 Premium Members Report Share Posted August 4, 2014 Looks like the work could have been Movi, If it was a sled it was moving quite perfectly around those corners and hallways. Kudos to the Op either way.
Premium Members Tom Wills Posted August 4, 2014 Premium Members Report Share Posted August 4, 2014 Didn't look like MoVI to me, looked like Steadicam. Had a few of the little telltale things that look like Steadicam to me - like how it dealt with corners. I'd be very curious to know who it was as well. Love the opening shot, with the tilt straight down held very, very well, and gotten out of beautifully.
Premium Members Nic Owens Posted August 4, 2014 Premium Members Report Share Posted August 4, 2014 Great work, whoever's it is! The bit with the stairs was really well executed. Hopefully we'll hear from the proud operator.
Premium Members Osvaldo Silvera SOC Posted August 16, 2014 Premium Members Report Share Posted August 16, 2014 So who was the operator?
Matthew Hutchens
I've been wondering if this was Steadicam or Movi too. It does at time seem to have the inertial feel of steadicam vs the robotic feel of the Movi unit but it's hard to say. Really would like to hear who shot it.
