Invoicing APP?

I have no idea if this is out there but I figured I'd check. I'm looking for an app that will handle equipment invoicing and allow me to mark them paid when they come in (I've found that) but will also allow me to notate hours worked and allow me to mark that when it's paid. I do all this through about three steps and was wondering if anyone has found something that works well. I'm part of the evil mac empire so it would have to be apple compliant. Anyone streamlines this process?

 

I used to use ical and put the day in the computer and then when I was done drag it to the reminders column on the right and notate the hours. When i got paid I simply deleted the reminder. Worked great and so of course apple deleted that option.

I've found Quickbooks Online to be most useful for invoicing, tracking, etc. They also have a fantastic Mac app that serves as front-end to the website, but you can also use a regular web browser to access invoices and receive payments. They also have an iPhone app.

Hmmm, I'll look into that.

One thing I forgot to mention, the app needs to be able to print a copy that my carrier pigeon can handle. There are some things technology just can't beat.

I'm not sure how to print from an iPhone, but I imagine the desktop and web versions can handle printing.

I've been using Zoho for invoices but now want to get to grips with my accounting so I'm trying to decide on either Xero or Quickbooks Online. Anyone using Xero?

Best thing to do is use a mac or excel template. Always keep a good account of all payments and store them in year by year folders. But download a decent template from somewhere and this can make you look a lot more professional. a badly made invoice shows that you are not very organised.
