I'm selling this PRO Donkey Box generation I. This year the tightening screw thead got worn. I was on a job and bought a new Donkey Box to finish the job. Meanwhile I had the donkey box fixed and I'm selling it now.

1500$

PS I'm also selling a PRO I post for those who want to make their own rig.

Ok DB I, DB II, DB III

The DB I'm selling is in reality just the Donkey Box with no number. It is the first version made by George Paddock and is labeled ''Donkey Box''. Sorry for my mistake. I should not have called it DB I. But it is not a DB II. The DB II is a newer version made by PRO now and is just a little different but have the same mechanism.

Denis, you definitely have an original DBII. The current, updated from the original, PRO DBII offering was brought back into circulation with the advent of the CineLive electronics and Gen IV battery rack about 2 years ago. This is a great price for a historically solid and virtually bulletproof piece of gear.

The DB whatever is sold. Thanks to all of you. Now I'll write an history book on Donkey Boxes. You are probably right Eric with this issue and I thank you for your good comments. I do not have all the littérature on what I bought in 1995 so I can't tell how they called it at that time because it's only written ''D-BOX'' on it. I also have the new DB II and the DB III and find the III a better option.
