Us operators are in a better spot these days as there is usually a remote focus on set already. Needless to say, I am pretty bumbed out. Just this last week someone asked me to check the serial numbers of a BFD listed for sale on eBay by a pawn shop. Sure enough, it had been reported to me as stolen. I contacted the owner it was stolen from and he was very happy to hear about it. I assume the authorities were contacted because the item listing on eBay was changed to "no longer available".
