Premium Members Alan Rencher Posted January 12, 2015 Premium Members Report Share Posted January 12, 2015 Hello Steadi People! I have designed a mount that will attach an Atomos Samurai or Samurai Blade to the Intersex Plate, or to the XCS Utility Plate. This mount will allow you to attach the recorder to an unused battery plate. I am trying to get some pre orders in, so that I have an idea of how many to order on the first run. With that said, anyone who orders this week will get special pricing. http://mediablackout.net/product/samurai-mount-for-intersex-plate/ From my website: Pre Order: As part of our Beta program here at Media Blackout, we are offering special pre order pricing on the forthcoming Samurai Mount for Intersex Plate**. The Samurai Mount allows you to attach a Samurai or Samurai Blade Monitor/Recorder to an unused battery plate using the Intersex Plate. This is especially great for Steadicam and Gimbal operators who need a low profile, semi permanent, and rigid mount for the Samurai. The Samurai Mount is made from high-quality, black anodized aluminum and is made in the Greater Los Angeles area. The plate comes with two thumb screws to attach the Samurai, and fout 4-40 screws to attach the mount to the Intersex Plate. Shipping by the end of January 2014! ** Intersex Plate not included
Premium Members Alan Rencher Posted January 24, 2015 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted January 24, 2015 Update: Thanks for everyone who has pre ordered so far. Extra special thanks to those who got their order in within the special pre order discount window! I received first article sample today (I love that UPS ground delivers next day within Southern CA), and I will be testing with the Samurai, Samurai Blade, and hopefully The Ninja Blade and Ninja 2. The final product will be deburred and anodized black.
Premium Members Alan Rencher Posted February 17, 2015 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted February 17, 2015 The mount is now in stock, and I've given it a bit of a name change since it is now more universal: Monster Hands Monitor/Recorder Mount - http://goo.gl/Ttnnc4
