hmmmm...partners with mr byro?

It was a nice try though. Buy that cheap chinese crap, call it steadicam transmitter or whatever and voila.

Try before you buy, show your gear and perhaps we bite :P

Affraid for stealing your designs? LOL

So if i buy one, i need to sign a contract to NOT open this device, make a pic and post it on the forum? funny stuff

Nope, you will invalidate the warranty, but I have no problem with you doing exactly that. My business partner would flip, but who cares? I find that he is ALWAYS flipping out and, so long as I am not the target, I find it entertaining.

OK...I give up.

<snip>

To all those who have a scientific bone left in them in this community, my offer still stands. And if you want a REAL challange I specifically chalange Eric to see these units in action. He is clearly the expert and knows what the best are. He can then go on here and have a great time tearing me apart telling you all what a fraud I am and how pathetic my stuff is. Or I will have convinced EVEN HIM, my toughest (and most wrong) critic, and you can take HIS word for it.

Of course, even if he gives me a good review, I suspect you all would merely assume I bribed him.

Interesting, It's Job that made the comments about the transmitter. All I mentioned is that you have been long on promises and short on Delivery. Two months ago you said that you post pictures of "Your" transmitter within a month.... You have yet to do it over two months later.

Meet me at NAB on Tuesday. My cell number is (831)239-4692

I will show you what my tx/rx units can do and you can objectivly fill in everyone else. You have always been my toughest critic. See my units in action and see if you can retain your skepticism. I have done everything I can to convince you aside from a direct demo. Allow me the demo and let the chips fall where they may

With all due respect Eric, do try to keep up with the group. My business partner will not allow the pictures to be posted as he has paranoid intellectual property concerns. Like I said, I would love to have Steadicam operators on board with me, but you are not the biggest market in the universe. Those who know, use my products as they perform better and cost far less than comperable equipment. Those who do not, pay more and get less. If you feel that you don't like me, don't beleieve what I say, or just don't like me, I am fine with that. You are more than welcome to rip yourself off. But trust me when I say that your friends will, in time, be buying my equipment and products.

Being a scientist by trade, I appreciate a skeptic. A skeptic, however, is someone who changes his opinion based on new available evidence. Will you alter your opinion be based on new evidence, or will you stick to dogma and product loyaty, when the time comes?

Best wishes,

Jeremy

By the way. Look out for Nebtek. They have a new monitor comming out that has amazing capabilities. Those who are here, check them out. Those who are not, look out for it in July. They made themselves a great deal on the screens and you really will not find anything better out there.

Jeremy,

I do keep up with the group, in fact it would seem that you don't since I'm not the only person to ask you to post the photos you promised 2 months ago.

You have been long on promises and short on results. We keep hearing about all these "Happy Customers" yet no one that I have spoken to has seen "Your" product. If you remember you were the one that came onto this board promising monitors and the such that were at best rehoused Asian monitors targeted at the "Ricer" Car crowd. Seriously why would I need a monitor that had a Dolby 5.1 sound system on it.

To recap, Up until now all you have done is Promise products that would "Fit our needs" without really knowing them. Promised photos of a transmitter than you never provided and now you are walking the floor of NAB because your "Booth fell thru at the last min" and anyone that has been to NAB knows and understands that Booth's don't fall through at the last second.

All the other manufactures that post here deliver on what they promise. Think you might be able to do that?

Hi Jeremy,

You have to understand, when you first showed up on these boards few people here knew who you were or anything about your history. You're not the first to have claimed to have a phenomenal product at a fraction of the normal cost. More often than not, those before you have come and gone, never to be heard from again. It should come as no surprise that you encountered a few sceptics.

To think anyone here would not be extactic to have a new product that performs better than anything out there for a fraction of the price is silly. There are few millionaires here, and cost is a factor in every purchase decision we make. If there is a way to cut the cost without sacrificing quality and service, bring it on. The fact is, much of the equipment we use has proven itself through years and years of use in the field, and the manufacturer support behind it has proven itself to be first class. It is that track record that keeps us loyal to our brands.

Again, not that we are so loyal we would never consider anything else, however, the burden should be upon you to prove your product. Don't leave it upon us to arrange a meeting, or find you at NAB. If you cannot yet provide specs, or pictures, that is fine. We will wait. But don't announce you'll have the information by a certain time, and expect us not to lose interest when it is not delivered.

A great example is what is happening with the RED camera right now at NAB. Lots of promises for a long time. Delays caused the public to question if it will ever actually be delivered. Not that nobody wanted it to be made, people just were getting tired of being teased. Now that the actual product can be seen along with actual footage, the reports I hear about it are phenomenal. People are nuts over it and can't wait to use it.

If you're truly confident about your product, I would strongly recommend you organize a demo of some sort. Perhaps get a few into the hands of some operators to test out for a while. I'm sure anyone involved would sign an NDA. Since NAB fell through, get a booth at CineGear. There are many options to market your product, and if it is what you say it is, you should have no problem selling it. In the meantime, no more tickleling.

Best regards,

Afton

Yup, people here are flipping out about the RED. The lines are quite dramatic.

As far as my stuff, we OEM to Wexler, they have a unit that looks quite a bit like ours, (and the Tiawaneese transmitters, I might add) that we built for them. VER has quite a bit of our equipment, though older models as that was quite a while ago when we made that deal. Several years in fact and they are STILL renting the original units we sold them. Considering what we all know such equipment goes through, I would say that that is quite a track record.

I am just a guy out to help people and make a living. Transmitters and receivers are not expensive things to build, nor are they, for the most part, all that complex (until you go digital or HD, then they get VERY complex). We make ours so that they work well, and we sell them at a reasonable price in direct contrast to other companies who are charging thousands.

All the specs are on my website and I have not claimed anything (expect for the pictures, which I explained) that I have not delivered on. Sure, I tried to work out what a monitor should be for you guys and I did so in good faith. It hasn't worked out for me for reasons I have gone over, but I had no problem pointing out who was able to get it done and directing you there (see last post).

If you want to see my units in action, I am a small outfit fat North of LA and I am busy most of the time, but you can ask those who have rented from VER or Wexler how they work, or you can go to C Mount Technologies in Santa Monica and rent some of theirs (though they are usually using them themselves).

I have been upfront and honest from the beginning. I find it fascinating that anyone who has gone through what I have written here can interpret my writings as anything other than helpful and direct (with the exception of Eric, whom I understand despises me on a weird personal lever for something I did to him in a past life).

At any rate, that is where I am at, and that is what I do. Use my equipment or don't, I will get by either way.
