Mike Mohun
My monitor shows vertical lines on the screen when on. Is there a way to trouble shoot this problem. Thanks
Premium Members Kyle Wullschleger Posted July 23, 2015 Premium Members Report Share Posted July 23, 2015 I've had vertical lines appear on a Marshal monitor when the HD-SDI signal had become weak because of what was likely a loose connection that eventually lead to no signal at all. I'd start by connecting the monitor to an HD-SDI line directly to the source and bypassing your sled to see if it is the monitor or a weak signal somewhere within your sled's connections. Premium Members Victor Lazaro Posted July 24, 2015 Premium Members Report Share Posted July 24, 2015 Hi Mike, more details could help> What brand/model? what signal and from which camera? Photo?
Mike Mohun
Kyle, Thanks for the tip. I tried it without resolve, but it was a smart initial troubleshoot. Victor, I am using the steadicam scout and am connected to it through the HD/SD in port to a Black Magic Cinema Camera and out from that to the SDI out port. It is not so much vertical lines as it is some kind of interference like the old ntsc televisions. Not quite salt and pepper but similar with a vertical line pattern to it...
