Premium Members Ken Nguyen Posted August 29, 2015 Premium Members Report Share Posted August 29, 2015 This is a SD system. You can get the pinouts from PRO website. If you own it and plan to upgrade to HD it is OK. It costs a lot. Check it out at PRO for the cost. But, if you plan to buy it then have it upgrade by PRO or someone else to HD, you don't save much. Cheers, Ken Nguyen.
Premium Members Steve Minnick Posted August 29, 2015 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted August 29, 2015 Thanks Ken- much appreciated. I will check it out with PRO to find out the cost.
Premium Members Lawrence Karman Posted August 30, 2015 Premium Members Report Share Posted August 30, 2015 This is SD and can not be upgraded. PRO replaces the upper and lower junction boxes to update to HD, along with the cable and large Lemo connectors. It's probably for sale because someone did just that to their sled. Premium Members JensSchroeder Posted August 30, 2015 Premium Members Report Share Posted August 30, 2015 Sorry to intervene but I had exactly this set up upgraded to HD by Gorka Rotaeche from Spain. He adds a thin HD-BNC cable and a HD-BNC out on the upper and lower junction box. This is SD and can not be upgraded. Premium Members James Puli Posted August 30, 2015 Premium Members Report Share Posted August 30, 2015 I think Dave Hable @ Cramped Attic upgrades these as well.... Though when I asked him a few years ago it was rather expensive and I ended up buying new! JP

Premium Members Tommy Stork Posted August 31, 2015 Premium Members Report Share Posted August 31, 2015 I've heard cramped attic does a good job on these modifications and I would give Terry West a shout as well. We definitely don't do any SD to HD modifications at PRO. The best bet would be to buy a new Cinelive upper and lower and then plug it in and go to work.
