I have a Maxima 30 on a show in New Mexico; It's a remarkable piece of design and engineering. The first gimbal, as far as I can see, which was really designed for professional use. There are a dizzying number of settings for every type of response, so I encourage anyone who thinks he might use it to go to the open house. You can preset up to five menus with varying speed, following, etc. If you're switching from on board to remote control in the middle of a shot, you can do so without delay. The one I have is a demo and does not have the quick release for the camera, but that will be available on the next run.
