Charles Wyson
Hello everyone. I'm a new member of this forum and I wanted to share a little story about an experience I had last week. I was on a shoot and the production had gotten me a Zephyr Package for the weekend. I came in early to set up camera and get everything in order and when I was there I realized I had a problem. We were shooting 16mm on the Aaton LTR. Our package was running about 40lbs and as most of you know the Zephyr was just not having it. We were ready to cut all the Steadicam shots from the film and just go handheld. Luckily for me, Rey Reyes from Steadicam was able to lend me a package. He hooked me up with an Ultra and G-50x arm. We were able to finish the shoot and come out with some amazing footage. Thank you Rey. Just wanted to share that with you all. :)
Premium Members Victor Lazaro Posted February 27, 2016 Premium Members Report Share Posted February 27, 2016 Great to hear Rey came to the rescue. Who planned a Zephyr for a film camera? It was obvious that this medium rig would not work at all.
Neal Bryant
Great to hear. Rey is really doing a bang up job over there.
