Premium Members Jens Piotrowski SOC Posted May 13, 2016 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 13, 2016 these are the only "low cost" viable options, in my opinion. http://www.steadyrig.com/prod_Arms.html http://shop.artemis-hd.com/index.php?sid=6cb9e2a64c180bff2aaa209d009da92c&cl=alist&cnid=631a06159869374c414ea42328cf9e19
Premium Members Vahe Abrahamyan Posted May 13, 2016 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted May 13, 2016 Thanks for your input Jens ! How about the actionproducts RebelElite Arm ? (it's only a backmounted arm). http://www.actionproducts.ch/portfolio_item/actioncam-rebelelite/
Premium Members Jens Piotrowski SOC Posted May 13, 2016 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 13, 2016 Not familiar with this one, but it's all about performance, longevity and customer service, not the price.
Premium Members Victor Lazaro Posted May 15, 2016 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 15, 2016 The issue with tying to go cheaper with those expensive things is that you will find yourself with something that has potentially less efficiency, close to no re-sell value, no/limited customer service and maintenance. For the back mount only, this arm will limit you in your choice of vest. I know a few people who are unhappy with that and now have to sell everything and buy it all again just to change their vest.
Premium Members Vahe Abrahamyan Posted May 18, 2016 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted May 18, 2016 I see your point, Victor Lazaro. At the end one gets what he pays for... can't escape it I guess.
Nebojsa Ovuka
Easy steady arm works just fine. I work with it for 5 years already and have no problems whatsoever... it can fly an Alexa with follow focus, video link monitor and matte box with filter7s - Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk
