Premium Members Victor Lazaro Posted September 17, 2016 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 17, 2016 Hi, Laing has a really bad reputation and their gear is sub par even com pairing to their specs. The best thing you can do is look for a used rig in the marketplace. Steadicam is expensive if you are looking for quality. For a Red or Alexa mini, you can look for a Zephyr (there are some for sale used right now)
Alejandro E Fuenmayor
best thing any new op can do is to read the handbook, watch Mr Jerry Halloway training videos. you can search on youtube. there is also a very good video on Dynamic balance https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H9W8bOZLM9g. and when ready Attend a workshop. however, if you want to sell your M50 sled PM right away.
