FOR SALE -- Boland BVB07a DayBrite Monitor, in very good condition. Good resolution, nearly 180 degrees of viewing angle, plenty bright at 1500 nits, cross converts, down converts, takes composite signals through 8-pin or BNC, does up to 1080 60p, and takes PsF as well. EDIT: Monitor comes with a AB Gold Mount on the back, so you can power it with batteries, and a mini 4-pin to 4 pin XLR pigtail (there's a mini 4-pin power input on the back of the monitor)...plus the stand that came with the monitor.

Hi Beau.....my name is Ron and I'm a steadi op in LA. I would want to use this on my Tiffen Shadow. The Boland specs say the overall dimension is a little over 8 inches wide. That won't fit in the bracket I have. What bracket do you have that comes with it? Can you confirm the measurement for me. Thanks for your time. Ron

Hi Ron,

 

The bracket that comes with it is basically just a monitor stand. It's not really useful as a monitor arm, or yoke mount. The way I had it rigged up to work on a sled was, I built a yoke mount from parts I bought from Berkey Systems. It worked, but my recommendation is to get a Cam-Jam for it (http://cam-jam.de/qma.html). Matthias makes a version that fits this monitor specifically, if I recall correctly. The side to side width of the monitor comes out to about 8.5 inches or so. Hope this helps!
